See also this first webinar on the key principles and practical challenges in the promotion of vaccine uptake in low-and-middle-income countries.

In this webinar session (recorded October 11, 2022), Jenny Lamb from C-19 Hygiene Hub provides a quick snapshot of the global situation report of the COVID-19 vaccine roll out. The majority of this session is devoted to listening to perspectives from programme teams. We hear from Vee Snijers, a Behavioural Scientist from CUBIC regarding a bulk message voice trial in Pakistan, then from Kaushiki Ghose, a Regional Research Manager from BBC Media Action who provides an overview how media and communication can support vaccine uptake in Ethiopia and Somalia. In the last part of the session, we hear from PSI who provide insights of their vaccine location segmentation tool across Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria.
